Opportunities are ideas for future work. While on a job, you may notice that some other work may need to be performed for the homeowner. This presents an opportunity to come back to the home for a future call.
You can review any past opportunities that were noted for the customer in the Opportunities subtab of the Customer Record.
Opportunity List
This shows the list of opportunities that have been identified in the past for this customer. You cannot add new opportunities from this page. To add in a new opportunity, you will need to be a on a job for the customer.
- The opportunity type.
- The opportunity title.
- The status of the opportunity.
- Any follow-up date that has been listed.
Tapping on an opportunity will bring up more details about it.
Opportunity Details
If you tap on an opportunity, you will see the Opportunity Details, and the Follow Up Details.
The details on this screen include:
- The opportunity title.
- Any notes made about the opportunity.
- The potential cost of the opportunity.
- The opportunity type.
- The equipment type.
- The job number from which this opportunity was created.
- The date the opportunity was identified.
- Whether or not the customer was notified of this opportunity.
Editing the Follow Up Details
Click the pencil icon to edit the follow up notes as needed.
From this screen, you can add in any follow up notes and the date that you followed up with the customer. Click Save to keep your notes attached to the opportunity.
