Sales Calls - Estimates
Successware Mobile has the capability of filling out a simple quote if you are on a sales call. With this you can create a simple quote to give to the customer and then email it to them.
For sales calls, you will see that you will be working with an estimate instead of an invoice. There are a few features that will be altered or removed if you are on an estimate call.
Limitations:
• You can still enter work suggested notes but not work completed notes.
• You cannot add visits to the estimate.
• Financing cannot be applied for during an estimate. You may see the estimate rates, but no application can be filled out.
You will be able to see that this is an estimate from the main job page, from the estimate (invoice) edit view, and the estimate (invoice) preview.
If a customer accepts the estimate, you can collect a deposit for the work by clicking the Pay button. Deposits are not required, but can be collected as part of the estimate process.
Project Management
Successware Mobile has limited capability of filling out information for Project Phases. The only available functions are to fill out a form for the phase, review customer information, add pictures and video, and enter your daily dispatch, onsite, and completed times.
Since project phases do not have invoices tied directly to them, there are limitations including:
• You cannot fill out an invoice for the phase.
• You cannot collect payment or perform financing on an estimate.
• You cannot enter work suggested notes or completed notes.
• You can only add a single quote using this and only the office can accept the estimate on the customer’s behalf.
