Mobile for Classic - Getting Started

Registration

After downloading the Successware App, you need to register your device first in order to be able to log in. 

These registration steps include:

1. Request a registration token from your office staff. They will need to get this from the Successware Mobile Admin website.

2. Type in the registration token on your mobile device.

3. Tap the “Register” button to continue.


Login

To log into the regular live database:

1. Type in your username and password.

  • Your username and password will be generated by your office staff. Possibly your manager or HR manager.

If you wish to change your password, this will need to be done in Successware by going to the login screen and clicking on “Change my password”.

2. Select the appropriate company from the Company dropdown list.

3. Select the Truck that you drive. This will be used when creating requisitions using Successware Mobile.

  • If your company does not use requisitions, you may leave it as “No Truck”.

4. Tap the “Log in” button to continue.

 

Home

On the Home screen, there are 3 main sections:

A. Timecard Status
This section is used to display your current timecard entry or make a new entry.

B. Your Assignment
This section is used to show if you have an assignment.

C. Your Scoreboard
This section will show the revenue you have brought in for the current day, week, and month. You can also see how you are doing month by month.

This section will not show if you are onsite. This prevents the customer from seeing the revenue information.

Your office may have this feature disable. If this is the case, you will see the following placeholder if you do not have an assignment.

Menu

Using the menu, you will be able to move between different views within Successware Mobile. To view the menu:

1. Tap on the button that is on the top right of most screens.

2. The menu will appear.

You are also able to see your username, the company you are currently logged in with, your current truck, and logout.

At the very bottom, you will be able to see the version number in the lower right-hand corner.

If there is an orange symbol on the menu button, this serves as an indicator that there is something that needs your attention such as needing to update.

There are five different views available from the menu:

 

Home
The Home section is used to access your current assignment, change your timecard, and display the scoreboard.


Customers
The Customers section allows you to search for customers that you are not currently assigned to as well as add new customers. When searching for customers, you will be able to create a new job for the customer you are viewing. This feature does require permission to see and if you have manager privileges you add jobs for other technicians.

 

Schedules
The Schedules section allows you to see your schedule for the day and future days without requiring to contact the office or be on that job. This feature does require permission to see and if you have manager privileges you can see the schedule for other technicians.

 

PriceBook
The PriceBook section allows you to look through the PriceBook to see where items are located, their item number, and their price.

 

Settings & Support
The Support section provides the support chat system, phone number, and email address. Please feel free to call this number if you have any questions. Here you can adjust settings for Successware Mobile and see if there are new updates.

You will see next to this menu option if there is a new version of Successware Mobile available.

You are also able to see your username, the company you are currently logged in with, your current truck, and logout.

At the very bottom, you will be able to see the version number in the lower right corner.

 

Timecard

Non-Job-related Timecard entry

While not working on an assignment, you can update your Timecard status for the coming hours.

You may not have a timecard entry that overlaps an existing timecard entry.

Steps:

1. Tap the Timecard area.

2. Select the timecard status.

3. Set the expected duration.

4. Tap the “Save” button.

 

Job-related Timecard status
While working on an assignment, you can see your current timecard status is updated automatically based on the assignment progress: “Dispatched” and “Onsite”. The timecard status will be visible on both the Home screen and the Assignment screen.

• After you tap the “Dispatch” button, the timecard will be updated to “Dispatched”.

• After you tap the “Confirm arrival” button, the timecard will be updated to “Onsite”.
