Recording Work Completed Notes and Work Suggested Notes is important because it allows others to see what was performed on this job.
Non-primary or remote technician cannot edit work completed notes and work suggested notes.
Steps:
1. Tap on the “Edit” button on the Assignment screen.
2. Type your notes.
- There may be notes already entered in the Work Done. The line-item descriptions on the invoice will be brought over to the notes if there are no notes when the invoice is made.
We recommend keeping them in your notes unless your office asks you to remove them and adding more notes to make sure everything is recorded.
3. Add predefined notes if needed.
4. Tap “Save”.
Should you desire to cancel the notes, you will be prompted to confirm that you want to cancel the note addition and that the note changes will not be saved.
Notes added based on Invoice Items
When you add items to the invoice, they can appear in the Work Completed Notes and Work Suggested Notes.
Work Completed Notes
If there are no notes in the work completed notes when Sign is tapped to put in the authorization signature, the invoice items will be added to the Work Completed Notes. Adding to the invoice after that point will add to the notes as well.
They will appear in the form of:
/*FROM INVOICE:
> [ITEM 1]
> [ITEM 2]
…
> [ITEM N]
END TASKS*/
Work Suggested Notes
If you remove an item from the invoice, you can add it to the Work Suggested Notes. It will be added in the following format:
[Item Number] –[Description] -quantity of [Quantity] at [Price] each
Adding Predefined Notes
Predefined notes allow your office to fill out note templates for you. You can then use select those to add to or serve as a basis for your notes. You can make any changes to these notes.
Adding the predefined note will add them where your cursor is in the notes.
To use these notes:
1. Have the Work Completed or Work Suggested Notes open.
2. Tap on the Add Predefined Notes option.
3. A list of Predefined Notes will appear as determined by your office.
4. Tap on the Predefined Note you wish to use.
5. Tap Save once you are ready to use the note type.
6. The note that you have selected will be inserted where the cursor is.
