By departing you have 2 options:

1. Hold the job for now.

  • This option allows you to not complete the job and allows you to return on a later day to continue the work.
  • You may use this before or after the invoice is completed. If the payment is collected no changes to the invoice may be made.

2. My work is complete.

  • This option allows you to complete the job and mark that the job is closed.
  • If the payment is collected no changes to the invoice may be made.

Holding (“Pausing”) the Job for Now

There may be times that you need to depart from a job, and you know that you will be returning to it at a later point. This may be if you are taking lunch, you need to wait for parts, or if you are going to return later to continue the work. With Successware Mobile, you can depart from a job or “pause” the job prior to make it easier to return to.

If you depart or “pause” the job before collecting payment, you can come back to the job and make changes to the invoice. Once the payment is collected, you will need a new invoice.

You will be able to schedule when the new call is going to be for.

1. On the Job screen, tap on the “Depart” button.

2. Select the “Hold the job for now” option.

3. Select a call status. This will be used by the office to know why you departed the call or “paused” the job. These statuses are made by your office.

4. Select a date and time. This allows you to select the date and time that you will return including later that same date. You may need to call your office before you schedule the return trip.

  • You may continue without putting in a return date and time, but this will not create a new call. You will want to speak with your office if you do this to make sure that the call is properly handled.

5. Tap Confirm to leave the job early without completing it or marking it as closed.

Continuing a Job Past Midnight

Successware Mobile allows you to continue a job past midnight. This feature allows you to continue working on a job without requiring a member of your office to add you to the job.

You can continue a job if you open the job between Midnight and 5:00 am.

To continue a job past midnight:

1. Open the job that you started the day before. If you open the job between midnight and 5:00am you will be able to continue it.

2. Doing certain actions will prompt you to continue the job. These include:

  • Tapping Depart.
  • Confirming Arrival.
  • Tapping Sign.
  • Tapping Pay.
  • Moving between pages.
  • Changing the invoice type.

3. Performing one of those actions when you are onsite at the shift of a new day, you will see a prompt to continue the job after midnight.
