Mobile for Classic - Geolocation

  • Updated

Successware Mobile can send geolocation updates based your device’s location to Successware and your office. Your office must enable this feature. If Geolocation is enabled by your office, there are 3 main ways that these show up.

1. Your office can see your device’s location.

2. You will automatically be marked onsite.

3. Your office will be sent a notification if you are not within range of the service location when you arrive onsite or depart.

Geolocation Background Processes

Your device will send its location to your office in the background. This has been designed to not use too much battery power.

When you arrive onsite of your service location, Successware Mobile will automatically mark you as onsite and switch you to the Job Screen.

Arrival/Departing out of Range Warnings

If you arrive or depart out of range of the service location, you will receive a warning that you are not detected to be at the service location. Confirming that you are arriving / departing will send a notification.

Arriving Out of Range

If you attempt to arrive out of range of the service location, you will see a message asking you to confirm arrival.
