SWAPI Server Setup
2. Set up the SWAPI Server by clicking on the SWAPI Server button.
Note: If you are a LAN customer, you will need to have your IT person enable port forwarding prior to continuing.
This will need to be performed on your actual server (not just a regular workstation) by a user with administrator permissions that include both Successware and local permissions.
- If your SWAPI Server is already set up, you may click next to skip this step.
The system will stop you if it needs you to confirm SWAPI Server is running.
- You will need your public IP address and the opened port number. Please check with your IT person for assistance.
3. The SWAPI Server Administrator will appear. Click the start button if the button says Start. If the button already says stop, simply close the Window.
- Once the service is running, the start button will change to Stop and a green border will appear. Click the close button to close the SWAPI Server Administrator page.
4. Click Next.
Connect to Mobile
1. You will need to set up the Agent Information for this Add-On. This information is used to link your Successware instance with Successware Mobile servers.
- Enter the Agent Password
- We recommend that you click on the Generate Random Password link at the bottom of the screen.
- Alternatively, you can create the password. You will not need to remember this password as it is only used between Successware and Successware Mobile.
- Enter the URL of your SWAPI instance.
- (LAN customers) Verify that your public IP address and port (probably 2143) of your server are filled in correctly. Please ask your IT person for assistance.
- (Cloud-hosted Customers) This information will be filled out for you automatically.
- Your Master ID will already be listed. This is used to help Successware Mobile identify your company.
2. Once the information is entered click on the Verify SWAPI Connectivity button.
This will show a prompt showing that the connection was successful.
Successware Mobile Admin Site Setup
1. The Successware Mobile Admin site login page will open.
- Use your Successware credentials to login.
- For Cloud-hosted customers, the Successware credentials will be the credentials you use to log into Successware directly and not the credentials to access your cloud hosting platform.
2. Click the Log in button.
3. Open Master Account tab on the left.
4. Click “Sync now” in the PriceBook Settings: Successware PriceBook Sync section.
