With Successware, there is a tutorial version of the program, and this feature is in Successware Mobile. This allows you and your technicians the ability to practice in an environment that is similar to your live database but without affecting it.
There are 2 limitations:
• Credit card transactions cannot actually be processed in the Tutorial Mode. They can be recorded but not actually ran.
• Dropbox and Location documents are not able to be taken or viewed in the Tutorial Mode.
Opening up the Tutorial Mode in Successware
To use this, you will need to open the tutorial:
1. Open the login page in Successware.
2. Check the tutorial checkbox.
3. Enter the username and password of that database.
- If your database name is like Buffalo Clean Class Data, ABC Company, or Successware Inc, the default login information is:
- Username: p
- Password: p
- If the company name is not one of these, it is most likely a copy of the database, and you will need to talk with your user administrator.
Setting up Tutorial Mode

This will entail:
1. Adding Users and Employees.

3. Setting up the mobile site.
- When you open the Successware Mobile Admin Site for the Tutorial Mode you will see a light blue bar with “TUTORIAL” in it to let you know that you are in the tutorial mode.

Tutorial Mode Purpose and Limitations
Tutorial Mode functions basically the same as the live version of the app. The app will have a thin blue border around the outside edge and “TUTORIAL” in the lower, right-hand corner.
All features are the same as with the regular version except:
• Credit cards cannot be actually processed. Though credit cards can still be recorded as ran to pretend that they are run and to record a payment.
• Location Media is disabled. This means that pictures and video are not accessible within the tutorial mode.
