Billing Account History:

• Improved a warning dialog for processing SW Mobile and SW Invoice refunds from within Successware.

Payroll:

• On occasion, creating a payroll export file for ADP might have failed with the error 'Invalid premium multiplier', which has now been fixed.

Payroll Reconciliation Report:

• We've fixed an issue where that occurred when the import/export method was configured for ADP Workforce Now, importing the reconciliation file would fail with multiple "No employee match for deduction" errors.

AR Invoice/Line Detail:

• Fixed issue where rapid Enter and Escape shortcut keypresses could cause an Access Violation when editing the detail of an invoice line item (parts, labor, etc.).

Billing Account History:

• Fixed a bug that prevented refunds of deposits via the active payment processor.

Billing Account History Allocations:

• When viewing allocations for a receivable, the Update Receivable Balance option is now enabled when the receivable has no allocations. This is useful when it is necessary to recalculate the balance on the receivable.

Agreement Manager:

• We fixed a bug that occurred when an unexpected error (such as, "insufficient memory"), appeared while opening one of the view queries. These unexpected errors were occasionally followed by a "Field not found" error which would repeat indefinitely until the application was forcibly terminated.

Database Maintenance (LAN Utility):

• Removed "shrink" from the standard options when using Run Maintenance. Shrink may still be run separately from Maintenance Details if needed.
• When shrink is run from Maintenance Details, an index rebuild will automatically be run since shrink results in index fragmentation.

SWAPI:

• Payment method and payment type were being cleared on AR receipts submitted via SWAPI because it was not recognized by SWAPI. Added support for Diners Club. Now when a Diners Club payment is received the payment method "Diners" will be added to the Payment Methods reference lookup if it does not already exist.
• Very long search strings submitted for CompanyName, LastName, or Address1 in the AccountListQuery search could cause the SWAPI service to crash. The search strings are now validated for proper length.

Call Taking:

• When using Successware Payments payment processing and capturing credit card information for the job, the alias capture screen would populate with name and address information for the location. This was okay in the general case where the job is being billed to the carbon copy billing account, but incorrect when billing to another customer account. The alias capture screen now populates with the correct billing account information.

Add-On Manager:

• Add-Ons that have API validation will now record errors in the Successware Event Log if an error occurs with API calls.

Form Usage Tracking:

• Fixed a bug where form usage data purging was not occurring when expected.

User Manager/Login:

• Fixed an issue where an invalid username would drop the user back to the login form instead of showing the "Invalid username or password..." error message.

Secure Payment Processing Wizard:

• In the case where the credit card alias on an agreement is the last occurrence of the alias, the payment processing wizard requires that the "Remove Card" option be used so that the payment processor gets notified of the alias removal. However, if the agreement was active, Remove Card was failing due to the active agreement. The active agreement validation has been modified to only look for other active agreements.

Timecard Assistant:

• Added fix to prevent existing timecard entries on the Dispatch Board from interfering with timecard entries created through the Timecard Assistant that have the same start time and call type.

Payroll:

• New ADP TotalSource and TotalSource with local tax codes payroll export file formats.
• Renamed ADP Payroll Service to ADP Workforce Now.
• Added Jury Duty and Bereavement to the ADP pay item validation routines.
• Some export formats may be hidden from the dropdown list in payroll setup. When this was the case, selecting “Standard Text Export (with state and local tax codes)” was resulting in one of the hidden formats being mistakenly selected.

QB Link:

• Disabled the auto update feature for Classic customers.
• Added a link to select the export\import folder.
• Fixed a Platform issue where birth date was being cleared in QuickBooks.

SWAPI:

• Stopped LocationQuery OpenJobCount from counting Project Jobs to be consistent with no project job data being returned by dsHistoryList.

Login Dialog:

• Fixed an issue where trying to log in as an inactive user would drop the user back to the login dialog instead of showing an error message that indicated the issue.

Successware Payments:

• Fixed an issue where reversing receivables and deleting payments from an invoice would preference refunds over voids, even if the payment was voidable in Successware Payments.

Agreements Recurring Payments:

• Fixed an issue with the recurring payment start date being set too far into the future for Successware Payments.

• Commissions Report- Resized date fields to prevent month from being cut off.

• Job Notification Logging- LAN users were running into database size limits due to logging Job Notification activity. Now after logging into Successware, the system will clean up a batch of old unnecessary logs. If more Event Log space is required immediately, in the Communication Dashboard Services menu there is a new option called Clean Event Log. At least 30 days of logs are always retained.

• Dispatch Board- Fixed display issue where cancelled calls were showing as closed instead of cancelled after the corresponding job was closed.
• Agreement Form- Fixed issue with the visit notes control allowing edits without an agreement and agreement visits present.

Successware Payments/Recurring Payments

• If an attempt is made to process a transaction with a credit card account that is no longer valid, a decline message will be displayed that tells the user that they need to obtain new card information for the transaction.
• The recurring payment information accessible from an agreement now indicates whether a recurring payment has been suspended at the payment processor because the credit card account is no longer valid.
• The recurring reconciliation exception report will now indicate when a recurring payment is missing due to it being suspended at the payment processor because the credit card account is no longer valid.

  • Automatic calculation of overtime and double-time premiums on the 7th consecutive day in a work week.

  • Hourly pay entries can be flagged so that they get paid at the calculated regular rate for the payroll period. This may be necessary in some states for sick time, missed break/missed lunch compensation, etc.

• Timecard Entry – The User Manager includes a new ability for specifying whether users should be able to modify other users’ timecards, along with the ability to link users to their employee code to enable this functionality. To set up this feature:

  • Use the Main Menu > User Manager and assign the correct employee code using the Linked Employee drop-down

  • Use the User Groups > Customer Service tab to check the Time Card Manager ability to allow access to the timecards

  • Use the User Groups > Payroll tab to un-check the View/Modify Other Employees’ Timecards ability to prevent the user from editing timecards other than their own

• AR Invoice – You can now specify the default email format (HTML or plain text) for the invoice communications template and the invoice email dialog will reflect that choice by displaying the HTML or plain text editor by default. To set up this feature:

  • Use the Main Menu > Communications form and the Setup > Email Templates menu option to get a list of communications templates, open the “Invoice” template, and set the Default Format using the Communications Template form.
